Expo Expo MENA for the first time outside the United States
The Acting CEO of the Saudi Exhibitions and Conventions General Authority and, Mr. Amjad Shaker, inaugurated on Sunday, September 10th, the Expo Expo MENA held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. It is the most significant exhibition and conference event in the world.
Mr. Shaker delivered an opening speech in which he welcomed guests from around the world, saying, “The exhibitions and conferences sector continues to grow in the Kingdom, with growth rates this year exceeding last year by 15% during the first eight months of the year. However, the exhibition and conference season usually picks up in the third and fourth quarters of the year, sending a clear message of its continued growth.” He then toured the participating pavilions at the exhibition
The Authority is the strategic partner of the show which started today and will continue until Tuesday, September 12th, organized by the 1st Arabia Tradeshows & Conferences , with the participation of a select group of local and international experts and professionals in the exhibitions and conferences industry, as well as over 100 specialized companies in the sector. The exhibition’s visiting hours are from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM throughout its duration
It’s worth mentioning that Expo! Expo! has been held in the United States for the past 14 years, and this is the first time it
is being held outside the United States
