Apparel Group and its homegrown sustainable athleisure-wear brand F5 Global: Spearheading Change as the Sponsor of Peacefull and UNHCR’s World Refugee Day Initiative

Apparel Group, a leading powerhouse in the fashion and lifestyle industry, and its homegrown sustainable athleisure-wear brand F5 Global take centre stage as a sponsor of the empowering collaboration between UNHCR and Salama Mohamed’s brand Peacefull on World Refugee Day. This partnership aligns with Apparel Group and F5 Global commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The sponsored event, held at Manaarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, unveiled the poignant documentary “She and Her Dignity”, and launched a unique collection of t-shirt towels handcrafted by talented refugee women in Kenya. These limited-edition items form part of Peacefull’s skincare line, demonstrating a synergy between beauty, empowerment, and social responsibility.

The documentary captures Salama’s inspiring journey as she travels to Kenya to meet resilient displaced women who are reclaiming their dignity through the art of craftsmanship, while also portraying the rawness and reality of their experiences, helping raise awareness, celebrate success stories, and advocating for the rights of forcibly displaced individuals across the globe.

Sarisha Ved, Founder and Owner of brand F5 Global, said, ” At F5 Global, collaboration is ingrained in our DNA and is a fundamental aspect of our brand’s core values of giving back. Our support for initiatives like these goes beyond mere philanthropy. We believe in empowering individuals through opportunities, and this partnership exemplifies our commitment to fostering collaboration for a greater cause. By working hand in hand with these incredible women, we provide them with a platform to showcase their skills and regain their self-reliance. This venture is not just about giving back; it’s about driving meaningful change. We are truly honored to play our part in this transformative journey, embracing collaboration as a powerful force for positive impact.”

Mr. Neeraj Teckchandani, CEO of Apparel Group, expressed his pride in the company’s involvement in this remarkable project. ” At Apparel Group, our dedication to social responsibility goes beyond mere business. By sponsoring initiatives like this, we actively contribute to the creation of a world where inclusivity, dignity, and empowerment are the guiding principles of our group’s endeavor. Our partnership with Peacefull serves as a powerful testament to our unwavering commitment to these values and the meaningful change we continue to achieve.”

The exclusive t-shirt towels, which are an embodiment of resilience and craftsmanship, are available for purchase under the “Purchase with a Purpose” initiative by Peacefull. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to UNHCR, allowing customers to directly contribute to the cause and make a real difference in the lives of refugees worldwide.

Apparel Group and F5 Global invites everyone to witness the inspiring stories presented in the documentary “She and Her Dignity” and to participate in this initiative to make a tangible difference in the lives of refugees worldwide.
